For years, the government has been placing super humans in front line law enforcement positions. This highly classified program was terminated years back with reports of instability and potentially dangerous behavior in some of the subjects. Sunder and Nexus were the last two active agents. Although Sunder never exhibited any signs of instability, Nexus became extremely unpredictable, and the government came to consider all genetically engineered super heroines a liability. The program Valhalla is then secretly developed with assistance from Commander Kovalis, the heroine’s former commander. His orders are simple: Develop and test a weapon powerful enough to kill a heroine, but technologically advanced enough to do it while inducing pure euphoria, so as not to tip off the heroines. His first two subjects ordered dead are Nexus and Sunder. Without letting Nexus know of the government’s ulterior motive, Kovalis brings her onto the team with orders to find and bring Sunder in for testing. It’s been years since active duty, and Nexus knows she’ll have to make quite a bit of “noise” to get Sunder’s attention. It doesn’t hurt that Nexus is still angry at Sunder after their last encounter. No love will be lost as Nexus seeks out Sunder for simple government research..
